Building Tennis Communities

The St. Paul Tennis Club has been selected by Tennis Alberta, in partnership with Tennis Canada, to participate in a pilot program called “Building Tennis Communities.” Casey Enriquez, one of our more proficient Club members, has volunteered to be the “Community Champion” for this exciting program. Casey is a registered renal nurse at the St. Therese Health Centre whose tennis expertise has its roots in the Phillipines and was further developed during his years in the Middle East.Casey’s role in the pivotal position of Community Champion is to foster strong partnerships with community leaders and to facilitate a quality Tennis Pathway program that meets the needs of the community. The Tennis Pathway consists of three components on a continuum:
TRYLEARN/PLAYPLAY/COMPETE.
The goals of the St. Paul Tennis Club, through the Building Tennis Communities program, are to encourage more people(especially young people) to play tennis in St. Paul; to move more people through the Tennis Pathway program; to increase Club recreational activities and to sponsor competitive events. In support of these goals, the Club is actively recruiting a Tennis Instructorfor the 2011 season. If you have any questions call  Casey, at  7806458183
